Toddlers
Room

toddler

The toddler room is designed for children aged approximately 2 to 3 years, with an adult-to-child ratio of 1:6 Upon entering the toddler room, children experience a more structured play and learning environment tailored to their individual needs. This transitional period brings many changes, including increased vocabulary as children begin forming sentences instead of single words. Our staff continuously support language development and positive behavior management. The room features a wide variety of age-appropriate toys, such as:
  • Home corner with a kitchen area
  • Dressing-up equipment
  • Trains
  • Cars
  • Painting supplies, play dough, blocks, jigsaws, and materials for creative activities, sensory play, and outdoor play
These toys encourage sensory exploration, independence, and creativity. Under close supervision, children engage in numerous activities that foster creative and social development, including cutting, gluing, sand play, painting, and play dough. Outdoor play is a daily and enjoyable part of the routine where children can explore their environment.Toilet training typically begins in the toddler room. Parents are encouraged to collaborate closely with staff to ensure the child is ready for this process and to adhere to our toilet training policy as much as possible, making the transition smooth and stress-free for the child.During this stage, children start to make friends and enjoy participating in group activities. By the time they are ready to move on from the toddler room, they will have developed strong communication skills, the ability to retain significant amounts of information, and the capacity to formulate ideas.
